Education in Faith

 St Thomas Religious Education underpins the culture of our school where all members of our community are encouraged to live by the teachings of Christ in their daily lives. Our teaching of Religious Education is developed through the use of  Melbourne Archdiocese Religious Education Curriculum Framework and ‘Horizons of Hope’.

The children are encouraged  to develop their own personal faith connection with God through the help of the many and varied opportunities they are given at St Thomas.

The children engage regularly in prayer and Christian Meditation sessions.

The Sacramental program consists of the preparation for Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. 

The children have the opportunity to attend some  Weekly Parish Masses, plan and participate in Parish Family Masses, Year level Masses and social justice activities, helping them form strong connections in our Parish Community.
