Parents who are interested in enrolling their children at St Thomas are able to contact the school office and organise a  tour of the school. Tours are available from the first week of March  each year.

School Tours will be conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:15 and 10:15 until the end of May.

Groups of four or less families per session.

Tours commence at the beginning of March until the end of May.

Please note school tours are only for families whose children will be attending Primary School the following year. (Children attending 4 year old kindergarten).

Also available from the office is an information pack about St Thomas that includes an enrolment form.
Enrolments for the following year are taken from March and close at the end of week 6, Term Two.

The St Thomas enrolment form requires particular information, such as:

• Evidence of your child's date of birth, e.g. birth certificate.
• Religious denomination
• Baptismal certificate (reconciliation, communion, confirmation certificate, if these sacraments have been received)
• Names and addresses of the child and parents and/or guardians , as well as telephone numbers (home, work, mobile, email address.)
• Parents' occupations and level of education attained
• Certificate of immunisations your child has received.
• Specific residence arrangements
• Nationality and/or citizenship


Parental Responsibilities

Parents/guardians need to make an explicit commitment to the following responsibilities:

1. All parents/guardians enrolling their children in a Catholic school should complete the school's Application for Enrolment form and return it by the due date. This does not guarantee enrolment in the school.
2. Parents/guardians must be prepared to support the school in the Catholic education of their children and to involve themselves as much as possible.
3. Parents/guardians must recognise and be prepared to meet their financial responsibilities for the ongoing enrolment of the child. (Any difficulties in this regard should be discussed with the Parish Priest and or Principal.)
4. Parents/guardians must advise the principal of any Court Order(s) that may exist in regard to the child, or any changes to such Court Order(s) and provide a copy of the Court Order(s) and any subsequent changes for the child's school file.

Waiting Lists

If St Thomas is not able to offer you a place initially you can request to be placed on a waiting list.

That waiting list will be current for the year you have applied.

If you wish to be considered for a place the following year you will need to reapply.
